Middle age is an awkward stage of life, bringing new insecurities and questions with hard to find answers. I hope to help you find confidence during this incredible stage of life. After all, we finally feel comfortable in our day to day life just as gray hairs pop up, our hair gets fuzzy in texture, and the worst, hair shedding begins to raise its weary head. Then the questions begin.
Am I too old for long hair?
I covered my grays 2-3 weeks ago. Why are they already peeking back through?
What supplements should I be taking for my aging hair and skin?
Well, I’m here to help…. Oh my goodness, I’m so excited to finally share my passion project with all of you. I am passionate about helping women see their beauty and find confidence while in my chair. I hope for this blog to be an extension of our time together for my current clients/friends, a new link for the people I have yet to meet, and a reconnection to my much loved clients/friends back in Colorado that I love and miss dearly.
This seems like the perfect platform to bring value to my clientele both new and old. I want to highlight and answer questions about hair as well as women’s health issues that affect hair. I will address up to date trends, how to’s, products to use, and strategies that have helped me personally.
As a 45 year old wife and mother of 3 who has been behind the chair for 27 years, I have seen and experienced almost anything you can imagine. Not only can I make your hair beautiful, I want to help you feel beautiful and walk more confidently as a middle aged woman, even as you likely struggle with the expected hair shedding, hormone shifts, changing hair texture and color (darn grays). I will be answering and helping you navigate this exciting but very frustrating time of life.
I have two children in college and one about to enter high school. As a mom of adult children, we take on so much and often forget about ourselves. I hope this blog helps to answer and take away the frustration of feeling alone while wondering what’s happening to me? I have struggled myself with premature graying, hormone shifts, thyroid struggles, and the stress of everyday life. I want to be a supportive breath of fresh air in the midst of your journey. Together we can feel and look beautiful at this age. We have a lot to offer the world! I hope to bring confidence and ease to your beauty routine.
Upcoming blog posts will answer questions such as what’s the best way to maintain gray hairs peeking through? Why am I shedding like crazy and what can help? How does stress affect hair and what can be done to combat it? What is the current trend for middle aged women? Hand tied permanent and temporary extension questions and how they can add fullness or length and confidence without damaging your hair. Hairstyling tutorials and much much more!
Ok so enough about me…let’s get this party started! I absolutely can not wait to share what I’ve learned and my expert advice with all of you.
